Free calendar-day calculator

When does the quote expire?

Add the stated validity period to the real issue date. The calculation stays in your browser and gives you a date to review the quote before it lapses.

Adds calendar days. The written quote terms control.

What this calculator does

It treats the issue date as day zero and adds the number of calendar days entered. It does not skip weekends or public holidays. If your wording counts days differently, specifies a time, or names a fixed expiry date, follow the written quote instead.

Review before you send an expiry reminder

Check that the quote genuinely has the stated validity term and has not already been accepted, declined, replaced, or withdrawn. An expiry message should not invent urgency or imply that pricing will change when you do not know that it will.

Hi [First name], a quick note that quote [number] states it is valid until [date]. If you need anything clarified before then, let me know. If you are not proceeding, a short reply will help me close it correctly.

After expiry

Do not silently accept the calculator as authority to extend or revive a quote. Confirm current scope, pricing, availability, and the business’s normal acceptance process before proceeding.
