Tradify quote workflow · updated 5 August 2026

Tradify quote reminder templates for its three documented send points.

Tradify documents automatic reminders 7 and 14 days after a quote is sent, plus 3 days before it expires. Give each message a different purpose: confirm receipt, answer a decision question, then clarify the real expiry.

Independent guide: QuoteChime is independent and is not affiliated with Tradify. It drafts text in your browser; it does not connect to Tradify, alter a quote, or send a reminder.

What Tradify currently supports

Tradify’s Help Centre says quote reminders can be enabled globally and then switched on or off for an individual quote. Email reminders are available, with text reminders also configurable where supported. Its documented schedule is 7 and 14 days after the quote was sent and 3 days before expiry. Reminders stop when the quote expires or is accepted or declined.

Tradify also warns that reminders go to everyone who received the original quote, with those addresses visible in the email’s To field. Review the recipient list before enabling reminders—especially if a quote was copied to staff or other parties.

Three templates matched to the schedule

Replace every bracketed field with current facts. Preview the final email and text versions in your own account, and do not enable both channels merely because both are available.

7 days after sending: surface delivery or scope questions

Hi [first name], just checking the quote for [work] reached you okay. If anything about the scope or options is unclear, reply and I will help. — [your name], [business]

14 days after sending: ask what would help the decision

Hi [first name], I am following up on the quote for [work]. Is there anything you would like clarified or adjusted in writing before you decide? If timing is the main question, our current availability is [truthful availability]. — [your name], [business]

Remove the availability sentence if you cannot confirm a real window. A reminder should not imply a slot is held or invent demand.

3 days before expiry: state what the written date means

Hi [first name], a quick reminder that the written quote for [work] is valid until [expiry date]. Would you like to proceed, ask about a change, or leave it for now? After that date I can confirm the current price and availability before any later decision. — [your name], [business]

Before switching reminders on

  1. Check that the written expiry date is correct and appropriate for the job.
  2. Confirm every original recipient should receive every reminder.
  3. Choose email, text, or both deliberately to avoid duplicate pressure.
  4. Test the exact template and stop behaviour with an internal quote.

Tradify handles the documented delivery schedule; QuoteChime only supplies editable wording. Your business remains responsible for consent, recipients, facts, channel choice, and configuration.
